This site is designed to help patients and physicians gain information about the radiation oncology services that we provide.

Valley Radiotherapy Associates operates 12 centers in the Greater Los Angeles Area as well as 2 sites in Colorado. Our facilities are equipped with advanced technology and specialized staff to ensure the best possible treatment and care. We are the only private practice with multiple sites accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), a national professional radiology and radiation oncology organization. The ACR has promulgated standards in radiation oncology practice that have been shown to lead to increased cure rates and decreased complication rates.

VRA believes in a comprehensive approach to cancer care. Treatments at each center are individualized and coordinated in a multi-disciplinary fashion with the physicians and staff of the Cancer Center. At each facility, the radiation oncologists participate in weekly multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards. During these conferences, physicians of various specialties including surgery, medical oncology, pathology, radiology, and radiation oncology, as well as oncology nurses, meet to discuss the management of each individual. This helps ensure a coordinated treatment approach and ensures that all aspects of a patient's care are addressed. VRA physicians also participate in specialized conferences, such as the breast cancer conference, which involve physicians that are specialists in the treatment of a specific disease.

All of our facilities operate under the same physician practice management guidelines. This assures uniform quality and consistent treatment philosophies and techniques throughout our practices.
