Dechen Dolker, M.D.

Dr. Dechen Dolkar joined Valley Radiotherapy Associates Medical Group in 1999, and serves as the Medical Director at the Fred A. Jordan Radiation Oncology Department at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, California.  Dr. Dolkar is a Tibetan who grew up in Nepal and did her early schooling in India.  She graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering.  She also received her medical degree from the University of Southern California.  After interning in medicine at White Memorial Medical Center, she completed her Radiation Oncology residency at the University of California, Los Angeles.

In addition to general Radiation Oncology practice, areas of interest and expertise include head and neck cancer, IMRT, breast cancer and Partial Breast radiation, and treatment of hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer.
