Lauren VanderSpek, MD

Dr. VanderSpek joined Valley Radiotherapy Associates Medical Group in 2009 and is a Radiation Oncologist practicing at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California. She received her medical degree from the University of Toronto and completed radiation oncology residency training at the University of Western Ontario. She is fellow of and board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology and the American College of Radiology.

Dr. VanderSpek has published research on primary and metastatic central nervous system cancer and in-situ squamous cell carcinoma of the skin, and presented research on these topics as well as secondary malignancy and brachytherapy at numerous society meetings including the American Society for Radiation Oncology, World Congress of Brachytherapy, and Society for Neuro-Oncology.

Dr. VanderSpek's areas of clinical interest include primary and metastatic central nervous system, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and breast cancers.
