Linas Kazlauskas, M.D.

Dr. Linas Kazlauskas joined Valley Radiotherapy Associates Medical Group in 2001 and is a board certified Radiation Oncologist.  He is the Medical Director of Vantage Oncology Glendale Radiation Therapy Center at Glendale Memorial Cancer Center.  Dr. Kazlauskas brings extensive experience and has practiced at Vantage Radiation Oncology Centers in San Bernardino, Riverside, West Hills, Sherman Oaks, and Santa Clarita, CA.  Previously, he was the medical director at Vantage Radiation Oncology Center in Wildomar, CA.

A Chicago-area native, Dr. Kazlauskas received a Bachelor of Science, Honors degree in Physics from Loyola University Chicago where he received both departmental and collegiate honors, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Rush Medical College.  Dr. Kazlauskas completed his internship and residency in radiation oncology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.  He has experience with neutron irradiation for the treatment of malignancies at the Midwest Institute for Neutron Therapy located at the U.S. Department of Energy's Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory.

Dr. Kazlauskas is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) and the Southern California Radiation Oncology Society.  Areas of expertise include prostate, lung, skin, and breast cancers.  He has familiarity with three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy, intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), TomoTherapy®, and MammoSite® accelerated partial breast irradiation techniques.
