Marc Botnick, M.D.

Dr. Marc Botnick joined Valley Radiotherapy Associates Medical Group in 2000 and is a board certified Radiation Oncologist serving as Medical Director at Sherman Oaks Radiation Therapy Center in Sherman Oaks, California.  He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania followed by a Medical Degree from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine.  He completed his Radiation Oncology residency training at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York where he dedicated an entire year towards advanced brachytherapy training.  He is experienced at HDR and permanent seed prostate implants in addition to implants for Head and Neck, Gynecological, Lung and soft tissue malignancies. 

He serves as one of the primary brachytherapists of Valley Radiotherapy Associates Medical Group, performing prostate seed implants at several facilities including Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, St. John's Health Center, St. Bernardine Medical Center and the Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance. 

Areas of expertise include Prostate, Head and Neck, Pancreatic and Colorectal Cancer as well as High Dose Radiation on Gynecological Cancers.
