Mona V. Sanghani, MD

Dr. Mona Sanghani joined Valley Radiotherapy Associates Medical Group in 2008 and is a Radiation Oncologist practicing at St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Southern California and her Medical Degree from the University of California, San Diego.  She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor School of Medicine and her residency in Radiation Oncology at Tufts University prior to joining Valley Radiotherapy Associates.

Dr. Sanghani is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, the American College of Radiation Oncology, and the American Brachytherapy Society. She has published multiple papers on breast cancer, prostate cancer, and the use of Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy.  Additionally, she has presented her research at numerous society meetings including the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, the American College of Radiation Oncology, the American Urological Association, and the Society of Surgical Oncology.

Her areas of specialty training include brachytherapy, accelerated partial breast irradiation, stereotactic body radiotherapy, and radiosurgery.  Dr. Sanghani’s clinical areas of interest are breast, gynecological, lung, and gastrointestinal cancers.
